Gabriola Ecumenical Society wanted a place to promote spirituality and religion as a positive force for seeking peace. Not only was it a place to find out about upcoming events, it was important to showcase some of the events that had been drawing people together for nearly 10 years.
This website has just been re-built in WordPress and now features interactive areas where the community can engage with each other through the comment sections.
As a site run by volunteers, it is imperative that it is user friendly when it comes to adding events and photo galleries. The eventual goal is to add a social media campain and email list.
